Ever since I can remember, I have been drawing. My doodles at toddler age eventually turned into drawings of people and still lives as I grew older. On my eight birthday, I received a camera and snapped pictures of everything around me. At ten, my parents finally enrolled me into an after-school arts program and YAY! I found my passion. I fought my parents tooth and nail to let me attend art school—I was never going to become the doctor they dreamed about.
Today I love to visualize concepts and stories through type and photography or illustration, organize information and enjoy collaborating with a team. I have produced award-winning design for print and digital with expertise in editorial, advertising, marketing, and packaging. I have extensive experience in art direction and production of photo and video shoots, and managing design and photo teams.
Previously, I was the creative director at Health Magazine, and founding art director at Women’s Health Magazine. Past experience includes Seventeen Magazine, Tommy Boy Music, WestPoint Stevens, and MTV.
